Ugly Betty season 2 episode 7
At the Suarez House: Justin is watching FashionTV in the living room. Ignacio asks Justin why he isn’t getting ready for school. Justin says “It’s the countdown to the BradaMina wedding; it’s a national holiday!”Ignacio walks into Betty’s room and tells the lump of covers that breakfast is ready (blueberry pancakes). He leaves, and Hilda then emerges from beneath the covers, crawls out Betty’s window, into her own window, just in time for Ignacio to tell her that breakfast is ready. She mistakenly says “I love blueberry pancakes!” – even though he hasn’t told HER. when Ignacio questions her on this, she tells him that he’s getting old. He remembers that Canadian bacon is the only thing that consoled Betty when Joey Lawrence got kicked off Dancing With The Stars, and leaves the room.
Hilda rushes back out the window to Betty’s room and hides under the covers – Ignacio walks. As he is telling “Betty” about the Canadian bacon, the real Betty crawls in the window.
Ignacio is furious with Betty. He is angry that she lied to him, and that she is in the middle of a relationship that will break her heart. Henry says that she loves Henry; Ignacio accuses her of talking like a silly 13 year old girl. He attempts to give Betty an ultimatum. This enrages Betty. She storms to her room to pack her bags and move out. The entire time, Justin is moving from room to room, watching FashionTV, but the argument keeps following him. As she is leaving, Betty tells Hilda about her agreement with Wilhelmina to acquire Ignacio’s visa.
Later, Ignacio is preparing for his citizenship ceremony. He is upset that Betty will not even call him on his big day. Hilda then tells Ignacio about what Betty did for him, getting him back from Mexico.
At Mode: Marc is going insane planning Wilhelmina’s wedding. Cliff walks in and asks if Marc knows where his old brown blazer is. Marc is annoyed and asks why. Cliff says he is going to wear it to the wedding. Marc begs him not to; he says, “This wedding is so fancy, Armani is wearing Prada”. Cliff reminds Marc that he’s got Rosie O’Donnell seated next to Elizabeth Hasslebeck. Marc tells Cliff to wear whatever he wants, there are too many other things to worry about.
Bradford and Alexis are having bloody marys. Bradford is congratulating Alexis on scoring big ad sales; Daniel mentions his own sale to Winthrop Jewelry – Bradford says yes, they bought an 8th of a page in March (to the surprise of Daniel). Bradford asks Alexis to stand with him at the wedding; this upsets Daniel because he previously was set to be best man. Alexis tries to make peace. They fight, and Daniel leaves.
Wilhelmina watches the coverage of Victoria Beckham’s arrival on Fashion TV. She is quite annoyed that Posh is getting all of the attention. In the interview, Posh says, “Wilhelmina and I go way back – she’s practically my second mom”). She then hawks her new sports drink. This enrages Wilhelmina. She tells Marc that even her attempts to destroy Mode are off track with “Danny and the tranny” selling all that advertising.
Amanda is looking at newspaper reports about the wedding, noticing that all the A-listers will be there. She is upset that she isn’t even mentioned. She tells Marc that they are wasting her 15 minutes of fame; she wants to launch a singing career and end up in rehab. She tells Marc that if he doesn’t concentrate on her, she’ll “twist his nipples off with a wrench”. As he leaves, Stuart, Christina’s estranged husband approaches the desk. Amanda say, “You talk just like somebody I know…don’t tell me…”
Cut to Christina; Betty is complaining about her father to her. Christina sees Stuart, and grabs Betty, pulling her into Fey’s love dungeon to hide. Christina tells Betty that she had run away from Stuart in Scotland. She said she went out for dog food and never came back. Betty says, “You have a husband and a secret sex room? You have a dog? I don’t even know you…”
Wilhelmina reveals her wedding dress to the entourage. Vera Wang looks at it and says “Damn, I’m good.” As everyone fawns over Wilhelmina and the dress, Victoria Beckham emerges and models her dress. All attention is diverted to Beckham. Vera Wang says, “I have a new muse”. She even gives Beckham a Booty Bop. This enrages Wilhelmina. She kicks Wang out of the room, then changes Beckham’s dress to be frumpy, with flats.
Betty tells Daniel that she has moved out. Both of them then simultaneously begin to complain about their families. Both of them decide “not to go”: Daniel, to the wedding, Betty to Ignacio’s citizenship ceremony. As she leaves, she runs into Henry, who tells her that she needs to move in with him instead of Christina.
Christina and Stuart are sitting together, “catching up”. He tells her he’s trying to make amends for the past; apparently he was a horrible, mostly drunk husband. They hold hands and agree to be friends again.
Later she wakes up in the bed in Fey’s love dungeon; Stuart is in bed with her. They have obviously “made up”. Christina says she had forgotten about “good Stuart”. As he goes to the bathroom, Christina finds a syringe amongst his things. She confronts Stuart; he tells her he is sick, that the drinking has made him fatally ill. His liver is failing, and he will die without a very expensive treatment ($100K). Christina vows to help him get the money, somehow.
At Henry’s apartment: Betty is obviously uncomfortable, moving in with Henry. They start to make a few plans; Christmas, Valentines. Betty says “Hall and Oates are coming to town in April”. They then remember that by April, Henry will be back in Tuscon. She then goes to unpack her stuff in the bathroom, only to discover she’s walked into the closet.
Later, they wake in Henry’s bed. Betty’s cell phone rings; it’s Ignacio. She does not answer. She tells Henry that she’d like to go with him to the New York Transit Museum. He’s excited, but thinks she should go to her father’s ceremony. But, Betty insists.
Betty and Henry arrive at Mode, looking for her coupon to the Transit Museum. They see someone rummaging through Wilhelmina’s office. They enter to find Daniel. He is looking for proof of the affair with Dewayne.
Betty is alone with Daniel, while Henry sits at her desk. He sees her screensaver and realizes how much she loves her family. In the meantime, Daniel asks Betty if there’s anything she knows that can help him; she denies it. She does try to get him to confront his father, but she doesn’t tell him what she knows. Daniel decides to go to the wedding so he can get information from DeWayne.
Later, Henry takes Betty to the immigration office, but Betty doesn’t want to go in. Henry insists, and Betty finally gives in. As Ignacio is saying his oath, Betty walks in. He tears up.
After the ceremony, they “make up”, and Ignacio thanks Betty for helping him with his visa (Hilda told). They agree that Betty should move back home. He tells her that she doesn’t have to keep Wilhelmina’s secret anymore, because he’s now a citizen, and there’s nothing she can do about it.
At Wilhelmina’s hotel room: Wilhelmina wakes next to Dewayne, on her wedding day, no less. She turns on the television, and sees that Victoria Beckham had caused quite a stir the night before, wearing her Maid of Honor gown for a night on the town (complete with table dancing). Wilhelmina seethes. (They announce a ticker tape parade for VB)
Daniel comes to the door, looking for his father. Since he is not there, he gives a small box to Wilhelmina and tells her he won’t be attending the wedding. He then hears a noise in the bathroom and asked who it is. Wilhelmina lies and says “Posh”. But, as Dewayne leaves, Daniel sees him.
At the church: Amanda is roaming the crowd outside, announcing who she is. No one seems to care. Marc is nervous because Cliff ahs not arrived yet. Cliff arrives, looking very cleaned up and suave. Both Amanda and Marc fawn over him. Cliff says his shoes hurt him. Marc says, “Beauty is pain..and you are hurtin’ me bad…”.
Later Marc gets jealous because Cliff seems to be getting a lot of attention. Marc waves him over, Cliff gives him the “just one second finger”. This enrages Marc. He confronts Cliff, then breaks up with him. Later, Marc is drowning his sorrows with Amanda, and realizes he still likes Cliff. He realizes that he is now “an average man-lover”, to his own astonishment. Amanda tells him to do something dramatic to get back together with Cliff. As she is screaming “CLIFF!”, he arrives. Marc goes to talk to him.
Daniel approaches Dewayne. As he is asking about the relationship, Wilhelmina arrives. She says nothing is going on, and even if it ways, Daniel has no proof.
As Wilhelmina is walking to the sanctuary, the wedding aide tells her that Posh is missing. We then find out that Dewayne had locked her in the custodian’s closet. Wilhelmina walks down the aisle, absolutely stunning in her dress. Daniel glares at her. As the ceremony begins, Betty barges in and yells, “I object!”
Daniel talks to Betty about it outside the sanctuary. She tries to get Daniel to stop the wedding, but Daniel presses Betty for more details. Betty then tells all that she knows. Daniel realizes that Betty has betrayed him; he fires her.
Back inside the sanctuary, the vows are being exchanged when Daniel walks up and tells Bradford he must speak to him right now. They leave the sanctuary. Wilhelmina, in the awkward moment afterward looks at Marc and says “Do something”. He gets up and announces that Amanda is going to sing. He whispers to her that Quincy Jones is in the fourth row, and this is her big chance.
She gets in front of the crowd, uncertain of what to do. She then starts singing “Milkshake”, the insanely over-the-top sexual song by Kelis.
Meanwhile, Daniel is confronting his father. He tells him everything about Wilhelmina. Bradford doesn’t believe him and walks back to complete the ceremony.
Cut back to the sanctuary, where Amanda is holding forth. The organ is now playing along, and Amanda has the crowd in her hands. She sings/raps: “Damn right! It’s better than yours!” It is truly a sublime moment.
Bradford returns; they continue the ceremony, but Bradford collapses, obviously from a heart attack. Wilhelmina beats his chest, screaming “Don’t you die! Don’t you dare die!” Daniel begins CPR.
The song “Hallelujah” plays as Daniel tries to save his father, broadcast for the world to see. Betty sees this in Times Square. The episode ends.

Ignacio ist mit Betty wütend. Er ist wütend, dass sie ihn belogen, und dass sie in der Mitte eine Beziehung, die ihr das Herz brechen wird. Henry sagt, dass sie Henry liebt, Ignacio beschuldigt sie reden wie ein dummer 13-jähriges Mädchen. Er versucht zu geben, Betty ein Ultimatum. Dies empört Betty. Sie stürmt in ihr Zimmer, um ihre Koffer packen und ausziehen. Die ganze Zeit, ist Justin Übergang von Raum zu Raum und beobachtete FashionTV, aber das Argument hält ihm zu folgen. Als sie verlässt, erzählt Betty Hilda über ihre Vereinbarung mit Visa-Wilhelmina zu Ignacio zu erwerben.
Später wird Ignacio Vorbereitungen für seine Staatsbürgerschaft Zeremonie. Er ist verärgert, dass Betty nicht einmal nennen ihn auf seinen großen Tag. Hilda sagt Ignacio dann über das, was Betty hat für ihn, ihn wieder aus Mexiko.
In Mode: Marc wird wahnsinnig Hochzeit Planung Wilhelmina. Cliff kommt herein und fragt, ob Marc weiß, wo seine alten braunen Blazer. Marc ist verärgert und fragt, warum. Cliff sagt, er wird sie zur Hochzeit zu tragen. Marc bittet ihn nicht, er sagt: “Diese Hochzeit ist so fancy, Armani trägt Prada”. Cliff erinnert an Marc, dass er hat Rosie O’Donnell neben Elizabeth Hasslebeck sitzen. Marc erzählt Cliff zu tragen, was er will, gibt es zu viele andere Dinge zu kümmern.
Bradford und Alexis sind mit Bloody Mary. Bradford ist gratulieren Alexis on Scoring großen Ad-sales; Daniel nennt seinen eigenen Verkauf an Schmuck Winthrop – Bradford sagt ja, sie ein 8. einer Seite haben im März (zur Überraschung von Daniel). Bradford fordert Alexis, um mit ihm auf der Hochzeit stehen, das ärgert Daniel, weil er zuvor eingestellt war, dass sein Trauzeuge. Alexis versucht, Frieden zu schließen. Sie kämpfen, und Daniel lässt.
Wilhelmina beobachtet die Berichterstattung der Anreise Victoria Beckham auf Fashion TV. Sie ist sehr verärgert, dass Posh wird immer alle Aufmerksamkeit. In dem Interview, Posh sagt, “Wilhelmina und ich gehe zurück – sie ist praktisch meine zweite Mutter”). Dann Falken ihr neues Sportgetränk. Dies empört Wilhelmina. Sie sagt Marc, dass auch ihre Versuche zu zerstören Modus ausgeschaltet sind Titel mit “Danny and the tranny” Verkauf aller, dass die Werbung.
Amanda schaut Zeitung berichtet über die Hochzeit, zu bemerken, dass alle Ein-Listers da sein wird. Sie ist verärgert, dass sie nicht einmal erwähnt wird. Cut to Christina; Betty beschwert sich über ihren Vater zu ihr. Christina sieht Stuart, und packt Betty, zog sie in Liebe Fey’s Dungeon zu verstecken. Christina sagt Betty hatte, dass sie sich von Stuart in Schottland laufen. Sie sagte, sie ging für Hundefutter und kam nie wieder. Betty sagt: “Sie haben ein Mann und eine geheime Sex Zimmer? Sie haben einen Hund? Ich weiß nicht einmal wissen, dass Sie … ”
Wilhelmina zeigt ihr Brautkleid auf die Umgebung. Vera Wang sieht sie an und sagt “Verdammt, ich bin gut.” Wie man Rehe über Wilhelmina und das Kleid, Victoria Beckham tritt und Modelle ihres Kleides. Alle Aufmerksamkeit gilt Beckham umgeleitet. Vera Wang sagt: “Ich habe eine neue Muse”. Sie gibt auch ein Beckham Booty Bop. Dies empört Wilhelmina. Sie tritt Wang aus dem Zimmer, dann ändert Kleid Beckham zu altbacken, Wohnungen.
Betty sagt Daniel, dass sie sich bewegt hat. Beide haben dann gleichzeitig beginnen, über ihre Familien zu beklagen. Beide beschließen, “nicht zu gehen”: Daniel, zur Hochzeit, Betty zur Bürgerschaft Ignacio’s Zeremonie. Als sie geht, läuft sie in Henry, der ihr sagt, dass sie bei der Annäherung mit ihm anstelle von Christina muss.
Christina und Stuart sitzen zusammen, “Aufholprozess”. Er sagt ihr, er versucht, die Vergangenheit wieder gut zu machen, anscheinend war er ein schreckliches, meist betrunken Ehemann. Sie halten die Hände und kommen überein, werden wieder Freunde.
Später erwacht sie im Bett in der Liebe Fey’s Dungeon; Stuart ist bei ihr im Bett. Sie haben offensichtlich “aus”. Christina sagt, sie habe über “gute Stuart vergessen”. Wie geht er ins Badezimmer, findet Christina einer Spritze unter seinen Sachen. Sie konfrontiert Stuart, er erzählt ihr, dass er krank ist, dass das Trinken gemacht hat ihn todkrank. Seine Leber ist gescheitert, und er wird ohne eine sehr teure Behandlung ($ 100K) sterben. Christina Gelübde ihm zu helfen, das Geld bekommen, irgendwie.
In der Wohnung Henry’s: Betty ist natürlich unangenehm, bewegen Sie sich mit Henry. Sie beginnen, ein paar Pläne zu machen, Weihnachten, Valentinstag. Betty sagt: “Hall and Oates kommen in die Stadt im April”. Dann erinnern, daß sie bis April, Henry wird wieder in Tucson werden. Dann geht an ihre Sachen im Badezimmer auspacken, nur zu entdecken, sie gingen in den Schrank.
Später, wachen sie im Bett Henry’s. Betty’s Handy klingelt, es ist Ignacio. Sie antwortet nicht. Sie sagt Henry, dass sie gerne mit ihm in der New York Transit Museum gehen würde. Er ist aufgeregt, aber denkt, sie sollte zur Feier ihres Vaters. Aber, betont Betty.
Betty und Henry erreichen Mode, der Suche nach ihrem Papier, das an das Transit-Museum. Sie sehen jemand beim Stöbern durch das Büro Wilhelmina. Sie treten an Daniel zu finden. Er sucht nach Beweisen für die Sache mit Dewayne.
Betty ist allein mit Daniel, während Henry sitzt an ihrem Schreibtisch. Er sieht sie Bildschirmschoner und erkennt, wie sehr sie ihre Familie liebt. In der Zwischenzeit, fragt Daniel Betty, wenn es etwas gibt, sie weiß, dass ihm helfen kann, sie leugnet. Sie will versuchen, ihn zu seinem Vater zu konfrontieren, aber sie tut es ihm nicht sagen, was sie weiß. Daniel beschließt, zur Hochzeit zu gehen, damit er Informationen aus DeWayne bekommen können.
Später nimmt Henry Betty zur Ausländerbehörde, aber Betty will nicht hinein Henry besteht, und Betty schließlich als Ignacio sagt seinen Eid, Spaziergänge Betty in. Er zerreißt nachgibt.
Nach der Zeremonie, sie “machen”, und Ignacio Dank Betty für die ihm hilft, mit seinem Visum (Hilda erzählt). Sie stimmen darin überein, dass Betty zurück nach Hause zu bewegen sollten. Er erzählt ihr, dass sie nicht über geheime Wilhelmina mehr zu halten, denn er ist jetzt ein Bürger, und es gibt nichts, was sie dagegen tun können.
Im Hotel Wilhelmina Zimmer: Wilhelmina wacht neben Dewayne, an ihrem Hochzeitstag und nicht weniger. Sie dreht sich auf dem Fernsehschirm, und sieht, dass Victoria Beckham verursacht hatte großes Aufsehen in der Nacht zuvor, trägt ihr Maid of Honor Kleid für eine Nacht in der Stadt (mit Tisch tanzen). Wilhelmina brodelt. (Sie verkünden einen Nachrichten-Ticker Parade für VB)
Daniel kommt an die Tür, auf der Suche nach seinem Vater. Da er nicht da ist, gibt er ein kleines Feld auf Wilhelmina und erzählt ihr, dass er nicht in der Teilnahme an der Hochzeit. Er hört dann ein Geräusch im Bad und fragte, wer er ist. Wilhelmina liegt und sagt: “Posh”. Aber, wie Dewayne Blätter, sieht Daniel ihn.
Bei der Kirche: Amanda ist Roaming die Menge draußen, angekündigt, wer sie ist. Niemand scheint sich darum zu kümmern. Marc ist nervös, weil Cliff AHS noch nicht angekommen. Cliff ankommt, sieht sehr aufgeräumt und suave. Beide Amanda und Marc Reh über ihn. Cliff sagt seine Schuhe tat ihm weh. Marc sagt: “Schönheit ist Schmerz .. und Sie sind hurtin ‘mir schlecht …”.
Später wird eifersüchtig, weil Marc Cliff scheint zu sein, immer eine Menge Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Marc winkt ihm vorbei, gibt ihm das Cliff “nur ein zweiter Finger”. Dies empört Marc. Er konfrontiert Cliff, bricht dann mit ihm. Später wird Marc Ertrinken seinen Kummer mit Amanda, und erkennt, dass er immer noch gerne Cliff. Er weiß, dass er jetzt ist “ein durchschnittlicher Mensch-Liebhaber”, zu seinem eigenen Erstaunen. Amanda weist ihn an, etwas Dramatisches tun, um wieder zusammen mit Cliff zu erhalten. Als sie schreit “CLIFF!”, Kommt er. Marc geht mit ihm zu sprechen.
Daniel Ansätze Dewayne. Als er fragt nach dem Verhältnis, kommt Wilhelmina. Sie sagt nichts los ist, und selbst wenn es Möglichkeiten, hat Daniel keine Beweise.
Als Wilhelmina ist zu Fuß zu dem Heiligtum, erzählt der Hochzeit aide ihr, dass Posh fehlt. Wir finden dann heraus, dass Dewayne ihrem Kleiderschrank der Depotbank gesperrt hatte. Wilhelmina geht den Gang hinunter, absolut hinreißend in ihrem Kleid. Daniel starrt sie an. Als die Zeremonie beginnt, Betty in Bargen und schreit: “Ich erhebe Einspruch!”
Daniel spricht mit Betty darüber außerhalb des Heiligtums. Sie versucht, sich Daniel auf die Hochzeit zu stoppen, aber Daniel Pressen Betty für weitere Details. Betty sagt dann alles, was sie kennt. Daniel erkennt, dass Betty ihn verraten hat, er feuert sie.
Zurück in das Heiligtum, das Gelübde werden ausgetauscht, wenn Daniel bis Spaziergänge und sagt Bradford muss er mit ihm zu sprechen right now. Sie verlassen das Heiligtum. Wilhelmina, in der unangenehmen Moment sieht danach bei Marc und sagt: “Tun Sie etwas”. Er steht auf und kündigt an, dass Amanda geht zu singen. Er flüstert ihr, Quincy Jones in der vierten Zeile ist, und das ist ihre große Chance.
Sie steht vor der Menge, unsicher, was zu tun ist. Sie beginnt dann singen “Milkshake”, die wahnsinnig over-the-top sexuellen Songs von Kelis.
Inzwischen ist Daniel konfrontiert sein Vater. Er erzählt ihm alles über Wilhelmina. Bradford glaubt ihm nicht und geht zurück auf die Zeremonie.
Schnitt zurück auf das Heiligtum, wo Amanda Betrieb weiter. Die Orgel spielt jetzt mit, und Amanda hat das Publikum in ihren Händen. Sie singt / rappt: “Damn right! It’s better than yours! “Es ist wirklich ein erhabener Moment.
Bradford gibt, sie auch weiterhin die Zeremonie, sondern Bradford zusammen, offenbar an einem Herzinfarkt. Wilhelmina schlägt seine Brust und schrie “Glaubst du nicht sterben! Wagen Sie es nicht sterben! “Daniel beginnt CPR.
Der Song “Hallelujah” spielt wie Daniel versucht sein Vater, für die ganze Welt übertragen zu sehen, zu speichern. Betty sieht dies in Times Square. Die Episode endet.
